Hub bearings maintenance

Each drift is 12,000km and maintenance of wheel bearings. Remove the wheel and brake drum, clean the hub bearing cleaning, check whether the grease of the hub bearing has a dirty, hydration, etc., if it should be replaced in time. When the grease changes, the gap of the bearing roller is filled with a gap and covers the bearing. Do not fill grease in the wheel cavity, so as not to cause the hub oil leakage.

Adjusting hub bearings

Do not install the half-axis, top. After installing the gauze, tighten the end nut of 200 ~ 250N.m torque, then release 1/5 ~ 1/4 lap, install the locking washer, and finally fastened with 250N.m and torque. The adjusted wheel should be free to rotate, no obvious axial loose or swing.

notes:

1. When tightening the inner nut, the hub should be rotated in both directions to make the bearing at the correct working position.

2. When printing, the wheel should be detached smoothly to avoid damage the edge of the oil seal. Be careful not to pull the half-axis oil seal edge in the half-axis removal.

3. When the hub oil seal is mounted, a thin layer grease should be applied.

The vehicle adjusting the hub bearing should be tested and finally determined whether the heating degree of the bearing is adjusted correctly. About 10km, the temperature of the wheel is measured, and the measured value should not exceed 70 ° C. If overheating, you need to re-adjust.
